Sunburst Business Solutions offers financial partnerships to small business owners through CFO advisory services, financial process management, cash flow management, business valuation, and general strategic support. We want our clients to refocus their energies and gain back valuable time to do what they do best and are most passionate about. By partnering with Sunburst, clients are given peace of mind through trusted and insightful financial management to help inform strategic direction and planning.

Our clients are small business owners who typically struggle with access to real-time, accurate financial info to support strategic decision-making. They also do not have the resources in-house to build out efficient financial processes that can refocus their energy elsewhere. SBS partners with business owners to provide comprehensive financial consulting as part of long-term client engagements. Our goal is to put our clients on a path toward improved processes and cleaner, more real-time financial data to shape decision making and overall strategy.

Sunburst was founded by John Skrobela. John has over 20 years of intensive experience working closely with small and mid-sized businesses, particularly those that are established and are in growth mode or looking for expansion capital. Throughout his career, he has utilized his background in accounting and financial analysis to provide an array of high-value services to clients, whether working in a consulting and planning capacity, serving as a director of business and financial management in the private sector, or underwriting requests for funding and determining risk and overall deal structures for lending institutions. His appraisal work has facilitated successful exits for business owners and has been part of transition or acquisition plans for new ownership. He received his BS in Business Management from State University of New York Geneseo and his MA in History from University at Albany.
